For someone who is on my Stab List every other week, what the hell was he thinking?

I hope everyone had a great Christmas. I sure did. Besides all the family (J’s) and food, I made out like a bandit in the gift department. There are too many things to list, but a few things were a sewing machine, a chair, a fondue pot (yes, I really wanted one) a telephoto lens for my Nikon (!), enough iTunes cards to buy Steve Jobs three new livers and these:

Aren’t they just perfect? After I opened them I looked for a large round package that should have accompanied them. It wasn’t there. I asked J and he explained to me that they were Furi STEAK KNIVES. There’s always my birthday I suppose for accessories.

Oh, and did you know that almost all Christmas items go on sale after Christmas- even pet items?

I better go hide those knives now.

Girl, this J dude sounds like a keeper! Did he get you the sewing machine? cause, man that is a REAL gift. I so need a new sewing machine…

The knives are perfect for you as the STAB queen of the internets. So are you gonna be one of those people who have a secret bookshelf passageway that opens and leads to an underground room with nothing but walls and cabinets of knives and other fine stabbing implements on display everywhere, with little floodlights on them? Because that would just be so cool.

Jack’s look plainly says “We are not amused!”, so, yeah, better hide the knives.

Yes, you did make out like a bandit! Maybe they were trying to make sure they stayed OFF the stab list.
It’s a good thing Jack doesn’t have opposable thumbs!

And I got two packages of knives!
Patti- Yes, J got me the sewing machine. He is a keeper. And yes, you really do need an iPhone.
Dogette- I already have one. My lil weaponry room. Coziest room in the whole house.
Doni- Jack got boxes of Scooby Snacks (his fave), Dingo Bones, and rawhide chewies. Santa was good to him.

Perhaps J just wants to make sure that when his turn comes you have adequate tools to make a quick, clean stab. As opposed to a lingering death.
