Just like the embarrassing music I have on my iPod, I also bookmark embarrassing sites. No, I’m not talking porn. I’m proud of my porn. It’s sites such as icanhazcheezburger, home of the famous lolcats. And since I’m confessing anyway I guess I should own up to laughing at one every so often. Oh hell. Okay, at least one a day.
I know it’s a retarded site for people that forward chain emails, laugh at dancing hamsters, giggle at butterflies and collect ceramic unicorns. But some of the pics and captions are funny, at least to me. Now what is not funny, and is actually rather scary is when you read the comments and you see what looks like a whole community of people typing to each other in lolcat speak. Like “Dat sownds purrty. Duz it tayse gud tho?” translates to “That sounds pretty. Does it taste good though?” It’s like going to a Star Trek convention and everyone is speaking Klingon, only way less cooler. Oh, and did you see how easily I translated that for you? God. Maybe I should just go get a unicorn chasing a butterfly tattoo now.
I love those lolcats things. And yes, I laugh at them too.
