Uh huh. Stage three of this campaign is greenpeace giving the current GPS coordinates of Mr. Splashy Pant’s current location to some whaler (anonymously of course) for the publicity value. Who was it that said ‘no matter how cynical you get, you just can’t keep up’?
Well here’s my thoughts…. there is no specific “Mr. Splashy Pants” whale. The naming was to get the public involved, and what better way then to pick a funny silly name. Of course this “Mr. Splashy Pants” is in danger of being harpooned. I’m all for people getting pissed at whalers. So to me, on this matter anyway, I say GO GREENPEACE!
You can do what I have done. It’s not always convient, but I sent a letter to the Japanese goverment telling them I am boycotting everything Japanese until the whaleing stops. And I do just that, Mark and I take a lot of time making sure that whatever we buy has nothing produced by the Japanese. Tell your friends.
