I’ve been on the phone almost all evening with Richelle and friends, but I wanted to let you all know that the man who used nasty racial slurs, threatened to shoot her in the face, and then followed her home to leave a note WAS CAUGHT TONIGHT AND ARRESTED. But first he was BEATEN. The way it went down was so, so perfect, I have to tell you.
Besides arming Richelle, which was my job, we have had folks taking turns following and escorting her places. So anyway, she was leaving work and had to go to the store. She wanted to go to Walmart but did not want to go back to the same Walmart and she called one of the escorts who usually follows her from her job to her house and asked if he’d take her there. He said sure. So she rode with him and then she said, “I’ll be right back, it will just take me a minute, wait here.” And he did. She went into Walmart grabbed what she went for and as she was heading to check out SHE SAW HIM and HE SAW HER as he was about to walk out the door. She turned and got out her cell phone and called her escort, Sean, a HUGE ex-football player, and told Sean he’s there and just walked out. Sean told Richelle to stay on the phone with him and he started to go in the store. Richelle walked out the door and told Sean “He’s right here in the white Camry!” The guy had pulled up to the store, and with all the windows down, the crazy motherfucker started screaming “THERE’S THAT N-WORD AGAIN! YOU FUCKING N-WORD!” and Sean was instantly RIGHT NEXT TO HIM, reached in, and clocked him, and started dragging him out through the window, punching the hell out of his face. Richelle said the cops were there in no time, Sean stepped back, Richelle told them the story, they called in and had it on file so they cuffed the motherfucker, called an ambulance to treat his BROKEN NOSE and bloody face and then took him to jail and had his car towed. Sean was not reprimanded at all and then one of the cops asked Richelle if she had a gun, she said she had just bought one, and he said “Good. Learn how to use it.”
How fucking awesome is this? Richelle said it was just like something out of a movie. And no, we’re not letting our guard down. Crazy don’t learn. Richelle starts her CWP class next week. And tonight, we’re all meeting at Richelle’s to eat pancakes while Sean ices his hand.
P.S. The victory pancakes were delicious.

Awesome that you got a good cop who is frank and positive about citizen’s use of firearms. In addition to Sean’s libations, I’d pitch in a box of Golden Sabers or +P Hydrashocks for Richelle, too!
I’m assuming now that you know who the guy is, you’ll be alerted when he’s released? It would be awesome to have a flash-mob-type showing at his arraignment or bail hearing… Just to let him know that you’ve all seen his fabulously-rearranged racist fuckface.

I think it’s awesome the cops had no interest in arresting Sean for assault. Here’s hoping the asshole isn’t smart enough to try to press charges for the broken nose.
Now we have to hope the judge imposes a huge bail that the racist can’t meet so he rots in jail until trial.
I KNOW! I was not there but I was all “DID THEY ARREST SEAN?” There was a lot of witnesses too to the man screaming at Richelle last night too. And it was great that she filed a report the first time.

My first thought – thank god they got him. Then damn right he got beaten up before getting arrested. Let’s hope that asshole stays in custody. Racist pricks always get a lot of attention in prison – here’s to hoping. So he goes to Walmart stores to be a racist and harass people? Police give any indicators about the case yet?
Sean deserves a parade for that effort. Hope Richelle, in time, will be able to move past it and start to feel some semblence of safety now.
Damn shame that now he is in custody, you don’t get to use him as target practice. A gaping bullet hole would have helps get the message across not to harass and stalk nice people who have never done a thing to you.
Apparently Walmart’s his hunting grounds. I bet the fucker has a record, at least I hope he does so they will throw the book at him. Richelle said she was just shocked she saw him there, at a different Walmart and said her stomach dropped when she walked out and there he was. But Sean was right there.

The guys that have been escorting her are all amazing. They were all “this is what we do” and that’s what they did. It was definitely NOT the crazy dude’s day to have had Sean there.
Hell no don’t let your guard down. Crazy gets out on bail, usually depressingly fast. Though maybe, just maybe, since it was a Friday night, the judge is in the mood to take the whole weekend off.

Sean is a big ol’ teddy bear (don’t tell him I said that) that could have easily killed that man with his bare hands. He said all he knew was he had to first shut the man up and then hold him there until the cops came. And wilst holding him, he continued sgutting him up.
Richelle really needs to get a restraining order against this guy. Because sadly, he will get out..probably wayyy too soon, and frighteningly he knows where she lives. I know, a restraining order won’t stop the crazy, but it will help put him away longer if he approaches her again.

That is awesome! Two-words Video Surveillance at her home! When this crazy MF’er gets out there could be more crap going down. We have had our own troubles and had to install video cameras at the house. Our neighbor kid was hit by a speeding truck in the neighborhood, during before school hours. Later, Husband stopped and reprimanded a dumb ass who was speeding in the neighborhood during after school hours. He stalked Husband and a month later slashed all four of Husband’s tires. Someone saw it but couldn’t identify him enough for the police to make an arrest.
There are just way too many crazy motherfuckers in this world.
